Bathroom Renovation: Days 7 and 8

Mike has had to spend several days at his real job, but yesterday he was able to spend more time on the bathroom renovation!   Yesterday he spent time patching the holes in the dry wall....mudding and sanding, and mudding and sanding some more.   This is not the "sexy" stuff of the bathroom renovation, but it must be done.
Starring Mike the Renovation Guy!
I promise he does own other clothes.
These are his "get messy" clothes.

Today is paint day!  Woot! Woot!

Look how gorgeous!   And the paint is great too :)

Rip out the flooring day!

And down to the sub-floor!  No more ugly linoleum plus a little sneak peak at the paint....

Mirror is up!

All in all...a great couple of days work, and the bathroom is coming right along!

One thing that I am constantly surprised by is that when I look on the internet for inspiration, and I search for small bathrooms, these huge mansion style bathrooms come up.  What is the deal?   I thought we were pretty normal, but I guess not.  (I am just imagining some of the wise cracks from people who know us...)

I'm trying to decide on decor....anyone have any suggestions as to colors to go with that sage paint?  Should I just stick with white....or country it up with burlap or another color? What do I do with that window?   Help me decide!
