When You Can't Decide on a Color....

My Father made me a stool back in 2004 to go in my bathroom.   It was just a simple little stool and I have used it for extra seating, for a little side table, to put decorations on, to step on to reach something....so many uses!   He never finished it, and the idea was for me to pick a color and paint it myself.    So what color?  I always love the strong primary colors so I think I will paint it red, no white, no blue, maybe green?  No, I will stain it.....  Round and round I would go in my mind and I could never decide...and so it stayed unfinished.

When we redid the kitchen, we have a little bar area that needs some stools.  They only need to be 18 inches high.  When I started pricing them, I couldn't believe how much they were.   I started thinking that maybe Mike should make me 3 little stools and I could paint them red, white, and blue!  It would go with my Tennessee theme in my kitchen.   Mike used the stool that Daddy made as a prototype.    Here is the result.

So I now have a red stool, a white stool, and a blue stool....and they are stained.   Oh!  Now I finally know what to paint the stool that Daddy made me!

Why have one when you can have four?
