Activities to do with Baby: Color Play: Red

I went to the Dollar Tree and bought some different color baskets and then tried to fill them up with inexpensive things for baby to explore. Today I gave him the red basket.  It had red measuring cups, a red 3 lb weight, a mylar balooon with Elmo on it, 2 red books (Farm Friends and Jackson the Jeep) a red purse with zippers and velcro to open and close, red stacking cups, the red shapes from his shape sorter toys, ,the red ring from his graduated ring set, His red radio flyer ride on, a red fire hat, a red fire truck, a red ribbon, red shiny bows, a red cool pac for ow-ies, a diet coke bottle with red water and rice in it, red craft sticks.   He played with the contents for about 45 minutes straight which is great attention span for an 11 month old :) .   Red day was a success :).
